Establish contact and provide all needed information. This should be done no later than one week prior to arrival.

Note: Information must be submitted to the Canal Authority no later than 96 hours prior to arrival.

Requirements
    Fuel and Moorage needed on both sides.
    Has the vessel transited the Canal before?
    Do you have 4 extra crew that are capable of being line handlers?
    Do you have the required 4 X 125 ft lines required for transit?
    How much fuel do you consume at cruise in 24 hrs?

State the type of transit desired:
    Center lock, Side Wall, Tug tied (recommended)
    The Crew
    List of crew onboard upon arrival.
    List of crew onboard upon depature.
    Name, DOB, Place of Birth, Age, Nat, Passport Nr.

Note: Persons arriving Panama embarking on the boat
And then departing will require a special Visa. Ensure that Agent has complete list of persons arriving and who will be departing with the boat.


Chain of events
Upon arrival:
    Boarded by Customs, Immigration, Health.
    Agent will Schedule Canal Authority to board and
    Admeasure the boat. Ship ID will be issued.
    Once fee has been deposited, vessel will be placed on the schedule.
Note: Wiring funds to Canal Authority via the Agent in advance is recommended.
